HOW DO SUNLESS TANNING PRODUCTS WORK?

The active ingredient in sunless tanning products is dihyroxyacetone (DHA). A colorless sugar, DHA interacts with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your to skin to produce a golden brown color.

Gone are the orange tones associated with self-tanning products. Our formula includes a bronzer designed by professional makeup artists. The color is perfect!

IS IT SAFE?

Yes. Dihyroxyacetone has been FDA approved for use in the personal care industry for years. No adverse effects have been reported other than minor skin irritations on allergic people. Allergic reactions are extremely rare and can usually be eliminated by showering. Although no problems have been reported, we do not recommend use by pregnant women.

We have many scents to choose from such as Tropical Mango, Fresh Green Apple, Vanilla, Green Tea and Peach or you can choose unscented.

The airbrush is a precision instrument that allows for a smooth, flawless application. Special care is taken to avoid over application on problem areas such as knees, elbows, hair and blemishes that tend to absorb more color. Spray booths have little control over the product's flow and where it will land on your body.
Hand applications often result in streaky coloration and stained hands.

HOW LONG WILL MY SUNLESS TAN LAST?

Your tan will last five to seven days, but can last longer if you follow the before and after tan, moisturizing instructions. A sunless tan fades just like a tan from the sun. As your body naturally exfoliates itself, your tan will fade. Proper hydration is the key to maximum longevity.

CAN I ACHIEVE MY DESIRED COLOR IN ONE VISIT OR DO I NEED REPEAT VISITS OR DOUBLE LAYERS OF COLOR TO GET A DEEP, DARK TAN ?

Mist's custom color blending technique requires just one visit and one layer of solution. Many tanning salons suggest that you need multiple visits to acheive a deep, dark tan. This is unnecessary. Once we have established your skin type and color desires, we can achieve this in one visit, saving you time and money.
